Málaga for digital nomads: a practical guide
Climate, community, fast wifi and the sea: why Málaga is one of Europe’s best cities to work remotely and how to plan a mid-term stay.

Málaga has become one of Europe’s favourite places to work remotely, and it’s no accident: mild weather all year, a reasonable cost of living, an international airport and a growing tech and startup community. If you’re thinking of spending a few weeks working in the sun, here’s what you need to know.
Good weather almost all year
With more than 300 days of sun a year and mild winters, Málaga lets you have breakfast on the terrace in February. That changes daily life: midday walks, off-season swims and an all-round holiday feeling even while you’re working.
Wifi, cafés and coworking spaces
The city is full of coworking spaces and specialty cafés set up for working, especially around Soho and the centre. At home, the essentials are fast fibre and a comfortable workspace: all our apartments have good wifi and a spot for your laptop, and several have a coffee machine to start the morning right.

Community and life beyond the laptop
Between the tech hub, the nomad meetups and the city’s own life, it’s easy to build community in Málaga. And when you close the laptop, you have the beach, the mountains, a huge food scene and half of Andalusia a train ride away.
Mid-term and long stays
For weeks or months, a mid-term stay works out far better than a hotel and is far more comfortable than hopping between places. In our apartments long stays are welcome and, booking direct, we can adjust the price by length of stay. Tell us how long and we’ll put together a tailored offer.
